Using a traditional process passed down for generations, Old Durbar Black Chimney is made with Scottish malted barley dried over a peat fire for a smoky flavour. Double-distilled, and aged 8 to 12 years in ex-bourbon casks, this whisky is finished in Oloroso sherry oak casks, resulting in a rich, smooth whisky with notes of dried fruits, spice, and peaty smokiness.

Our distinguished whisky is matured in two different types of wood, starting with eight years in American oak ex-bourbon casks before being transferred to Spanish Oloroso sherry casks for an additional year.
Old Durbar Two Continents brings together two distinct casks to develop a perfect harmony of flavours. The American oak imparts vanilla and caramel notes, which then fuses with the subtle spice and dried fruits derived from the sherry casks — making our first blend a rich smooth and rounded whisky.
Old Durbar Limited Edition Scotch Whisky is created through a unique blending process by our master blender. It begins with maturing in ex-bourbon casks for 12 years, followed by aging in Oloroso sherry casks for a year, which results in a smooth whisky with notes of dried fruits, spice, and caramel. Finally, it is finished in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks for one year, resulting in a complex and full-bodied whisky with notes of sherry sweetness.”

Old Durbar 15 Years Old Blended Malt Scotch is a unique expression, shaped by time and the intricate cask maturation process. Our master blender selects three different casks to create this limited edition release, first maturing the spirit in ex-bourbon casks for 15 years and then in Oloroso sherry oak casks for four years. The final step is a one-year finish in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks from Jerez, Spain.
The result is a beautifully balanced whisky with notes of caramel, vanilla, dried fruits, spice, and sherry sweetness. The high angel’s share of 6-8% in Nepal contributes to the more matured and full-bodied flavour of this over 20 year old whisky.
To create Old Durbar 12 Years Old Blended Scotch Whisky, our master blender combines various single malt scotch whiskies and single grain scotch whiskies, each aged for a minimum of 12 years, from multiple distilleries in Scotland. The maturation process in American white oak ex-bourbon casks for 12 years gives the whisky a smooth and delicate character, while the finishing in Oloroso sherry oak casks and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks for an additional six months adds depth and complexity with notes of peat-smoke, vanilla, caramel, and dried fruits.
